About the Owner
Jordan Salhoobi is currently a practicing Chemistry Teacher in Westchester County. He earned his Bachelors degree in Anthropology, Biology, and Chemistry, and Minor in Mathematics from the City University of New York at Lehman College in 2009. Jordan attended Massachusetts College of pharmacy and Health Sciences in Manchester, New Hampshire to further his studies in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacokinetics, Pathophysiology and Biochemistry. Jordan developed a deep interest in Science and Mathematics and earned his Masters degree in Science Education in 2012.
Jordan has specialized in teaching high school chemistry for many years. He is quadruple certified to teach chemistry, physics, mathematics, and biology. He is passionate about teaching and offers flexible tutoring hours for his clients.
COACHING AND ATHLETIC BACKGROUND
Jordan is a former soccer coach, a collegiate soccer and track athlete, NCAA participant, and a former 2003 youth bodybuilding champion. He has established a varsity soccer team from scratch at the City University of New York at Lehman College in 2008. Jordan worked as an assistant coach and helped lead his college team to win its FIRST EVER city championship in 2011. In 2002 Jordan traveled to the city of Amman to place in the top 3 competitors at an international all-natural youth body building championship. Jordan believes that through fitness you can positively influence your mood, improve your confidence, and enhance your social skills.
Jordan works directly with clients as a solo practitioner. All bookings are done through him personally. All phone calls and emails will always receive a response from Jordan.
Jordan is available to answer phone calls and emails immediately during evenings, weekdays and weekends. If he is unable to answer a call or respond to an email, he will contact his clients as soon as possible.
Jordan devotes a high level of attention to each client. He implements visual, auditory, and hands-on teaching strategies to ensure clients' understandings.
